Danielle Dahan Golan
I have a B.A in education and human services from Tel Hai academic collage, and currently I'm a student for learning disabilities evaluation and remediation in Haifa University.
In my thesis work I am focusing on the effects of presentation mode on reading performances, on self-perceptions as a confidence rating and calibration, and on Meta cognitive judgements as JOL of children in fifth and sixth grade.
In these days I'm working as a remedial teacher in a special education elementary school in Tel Aviv.

Tal Erez-Hod
I have a B.A. degree in Social Sciences from Bar-Ilan University and a Teaching Certification for Special Education from Gordon College of Education. I am now completing a M.A. degree at Haifa University, in diagnosis and treatment of learning disabilities in children and adults. As part of my studies, I am conducting a study for my thesis under the supervision of my advisors, Prof. Tami Katzir and Dr. Bat-Sheva Hadad. The thesis examines the deficit in naming speed as an indicator of general speed of processing, and as a potential basis for higher-order difficulties not just in reading, but also in reading emotional expressions in faces. Along with my studies, I currently work at a diagnosis center for students with learning disabilities in higher education.

Tal Rand-Koltin
I have a B.A in psychology, and a teaching certificate for special education. Currently I am a third year M.A student, studying for my masters in Learning Disabilities. In the last year my main occupation includes practicing remedial math, reading and writing skills with children who struggle in these subjects. I also partake in assessing and diagnosing learning disabilities among children, in the university’s learning disabilities clinic.
Thesis Title
Reading mindset- Mindset as related to RC and RC metacognition.
The main focus of my thesis is to examine the relationship between mindset (Mueller &Dweck, 1998) and RC, and also between mindset and metacognition. Data has been gathered and the project is currently in progress.
Ady Shechter
I have a B.A. in Counseling & Development of the human-being and Special Education from Haifa University, and I am a master's student in Learning Disability evaluation and remediation from Haifa University. I have worked in several tutoring and educationalsettings in the Haifa region. In addition, I have worked as a research assistant at a laboratory in the Education Faculty and currently I work as an ISF research coordinator.

Shirley Rapoport
I hold a B.A. in psychology and cognitive sciences from the Hebrew University and M.A. in evaluation and remediation of learning disabilities from Haifa University. I am a certified ADHD life-coach and practice diagnosis of specific learning disorders and remedial teaching.

Teachers’ beliefs and practices regarding the role of executive functions in reading and arithmetic.
Goni Viterbo
I have a B.A. in Psychology, Human Resources and Communications from Ben Gurion University, and M.A. (with distinction) in Learning Disabilities evaluation and remediation from Haifa University. In my thesis I have focused on the effects of local versus global oriented priming on reading processes. My Thesis supervisors were Dr. Liat Goldfarb and Prof. Tami Katzir. Recently, I have worked as a professional manager of a children learning disabilities clinic. Today I work in learning disabilities diagnostic and remediation centers. In addition, I am currently preparing our article thesis for publication.

Bluma Segal
I have a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology-Anthropology from Bar Ilan University, and M.A in Learning Disability evaluation and remediation from Haifa University.In my M.Athesis I focused on Demographic Aspects and Literacy in Ethiopian Families and their Influence on Written Language Development of their Children in First and Second Grade.
Since 2009 I am working as a lecturer in Beit Berl College, in the Special Education Program and Continuing Education for Teachers as well as a coordinator of practical training in learning disability diagnostics for MA students.

Shirley Hershko
שמי שירלי הרשקו. אני מאבחנת דידקטית מומחית, ומטפלת בילדים, מתבגרים ובוגרים בעלי לקויי למידה. למדתי תואר ראשון במדעי ההתנהגות, ותואר שני בלקויות למידה, וסיימתי את לימודיי בהצטיינות. עבודת התזה שלי, בהנחיית ד"ר תמי קציר באוניברסיטת חיפה, עסקה בהבנת הנקרא ומראה הטקסט. בשנים האחרונות עבדתי במרכז הלמידה "אתגר" בחיפה (בהנהלת ד"ר אסתר טוב לי), ובאגודת "ניצן" בנס ציונה. כיום, אני מנהלת את המרכז לאבחון ותמיכה בסטודנטים עם לקויות למידה בפקולטה לחקלאות ברחובות (שלוחה של האוניברסיטה העברית).

Einav Yehezkel
I have a B.A. in Psychology from Emek Israel College, and M.A in Learning Disability evaluation and remediation from Haifa University. I have worked in several learning disability centers in Yoqne’am and Haifa. Today I work as a coordinator for learning disability in Amal net ,in Afula. I also teach students in elementary school and give private lessons in order to improve reading and writing skills.
